Cupid’s Cake and Cherries: A Valentine’s Day Birthday Bash

Turns out, being a Valentine’s Day baby is both a blessing and a sniffle-filled surprise when your immune system decides to crash the party. Yep, this year, I celebrated with tissues in one hand and cake in the other. Talk about multitasking.

The Cake That Took the…Cake 🍰🌸

Front and center of today’s festivities was a stunning white circular cake perched on a stand, looking like it had just stepped out of a Pinterest board. Preppy butterflies fluttered across the frosting, giving it that “too pretty to eat” vibe. But the real showstopper? The heart of roses surrounding the cake stand. Literally. A full-on rose heart on the table, making me feel like I’d accidentally wandered into a rom-com set. I mean, roses and cake? Cupid really did his job.

Cherries, Hearts & a Dash of Style 🍒💫

Now, let's talk about my gifts—because oh boy, my family deserves a round of applause. First, a pair of black Converse, but not just any Converse. These had tiny red cherries dancing across them, turning a classic into a statement piece. And then came the necklace: two delicate hearts intertwined like…well, my emotions when I saw it. Simple, elegant and definitely the kind of gift that steals your heart.

Under the Weather, Over the Moon 🌧️🎉

Sure, I was a bit sick today—my nose running faster than me when someone mentions cake—but that didn’t stop me from soaking in the birthday vibes. We laughed, we ate and I discovered that trying to blow out candles with a stuffy nose is basically an Olympic sport. Spoiler alert: I didn’t win.

Wrapping It Up: Roses, Red Cherries & a Happy Heart 🌹💕

All in all, it was a day to remember. Even with the sniffles, I was surrounded by sweetness, laughter and some seriously aesthetic gifts. And hey, if life gives you roses around your cake, you might as well stop and smell them—before sneezing again.
